The advent of the steadicam has revolutionized camera movement. The MK-V AR has taken the next step in the evolution of camera stabilizers. Now the camera can be flown from high mode to low mode all in one shot. In mid mode its possible to achieve a sense of flying since the sled is horizontal. Most steadicam friendly cameras can be flown in the AR. HD cameras fit beautifully once the handles are removed.
The AR can be stripped down to its basic steadicam configuration to provide standard camera stabilization as well.
The MR is the manual version driven by a Preston motor. It can be controlled with a microforce via hardwire or wireless using a Preston Follow Focus unit. You can see my MR in action in the upcoming feature film "The Brave One" starring Jodie Foster.
