Ramon Engle - Steadicam | AR Operator

MK-V AR

The MK-V AR is the next step in steadicam advancement. The self leveling aspect gives the operator the ability to acheive perspectives that were previously unattainable. Now the camera can travel from low mode to hi mode in the same shot. There is no more "Dead Zone": the place were the camera can't reach in regular or low mode. Most steadicam friendly cameras will fit in the "AR". Some better than the others. The 235 is the optimal MOS camera and the ARRICAM LT is the optimal Sync Sound camera.

SL Cine 35 Mark III

The SL Cine 35 Mark III is the perfect MOS Steadicam camera. This particular version has a variable shutter, high speed Super 35 gate, light weight magnesium steadicam magazines and a PL lens mount. New added features include an extra 11-pin fisher connector on the back of the camera for optional accessories; moreover, these connectors have been upgraded to 8.5 amp output at 12 volts out. Also incorporated are two 24 volt Lemo connectors to conveniently service the accessory needs on the front of the camera as well. Although the SL 35 II has many advantages to the old 2C cameras, it has been designed to interface with existing 2C type accessories such as external speed controls, Arri- or Jurgens-2C doors and, by integrating our lightweight Riser, standard matte boxes and focus iris controls.
